i think maryland is pretty bad. their o-line is porous as hell, and hollenbach isn't impressive in any sense of the word.

In this division, I'd say any team can beat any team. The only question mark to me, is could Maryland beat clemson, other than that you can make a solid case for every game.

I dont know who you've been talking to, but nobody I know thinks we're going to have an easy game next weekend. It helps that we're at home and we lost to them last year so we should be fired up, but everyone I know is looking for this to be a huge letdown game.

first of all, we don't need to be as fired up for wake as we were for fsu. secondly, the guys know what they need to do. we're in acc championship game contention now. the fellas know this, and they'll be ready to play. i know people keep talking about "well, we always lose after big games". i don't care about that. the guys believe in daniel evans. they're playing like a whole new team with him at the helm. they'll be ready.

Right when you think they have it, they dont. This would be a classic case of "some NC State shit" if we lost next week. Our teams are notorious for the letdown, and this year is no exception. I'm not getting my hopes up for anything. Our D still has glaring weaknesses.

I dont think you understand that NC State fans have gotten their hopes up and had them come crashing down especially in football for years in a row now. Even the 2002 season was bad considering the way we lost 3 straight. That said, every year has been hyped up as "this is the one" or at least "we have a good shot" and it doesnt happen. All we're trying to say is dont get up too high after 2 conference games especially considering our history.

we haven't lost at home to them in decades. they had trouble running the ball (their strength) on clemson, which i believe have a similar defense as ours. they've lost their best corner for the 1st half. we're at home. we're playing for acc championship game contention. their d-line is tiny, with tackles that weigh 260 lbs. that d-line let clemson run 214 yards on them, and i believe andre brown is better than davis. we now have a balanced offense, with our new qb and emerging, tall receivers.

i believe we'll be favored, and i believe we'll win. it may be a close game, but we'll win.

after witnessing the ECU/UVA game yesterday, this should NOT happen if our team is halfway competent.

brown will rush for 200+ that game if he's healthy and gets enough carries.
