This is a feeler at what anyone might have. I'm looking for a frame, mattress and boxsprings. I'm also not looking to spend over $200.
My roommate through hardtimes in his life has never owned a bed. It's either been a matress and box springs on the floor or a futon with extra cushins. This Thursday is his birthday and we want to get him a new bed.
Lemme know what you got! Email me (Raige@nc.rr.com), AIM: RaigeDaFury
I can take care of getting it and moving it. This is for a really good cause. 10/9/2006 9:51:31 AM |

^ wow. I'll have to check with the others involved with that as $300 might be too much for them to handle their part. Does that include a nice frame too?
Thanks Lutra, I'll check it out! 10/9/2006 7:12:16 PM |

I have a queen mattress & boxspring that I am willing to get rid of for less than that.
A frame is fairly inexpensive by itself. Let me know if you're interested. 10/9/2006 11:57:49 PM |

^ Cool. I'll keep it in the thought process. Finding a good solid frame is gonna be the hard part. 10/10/2006 8:30:58 AM |

my frame is the standard $50 metal frame you get at sams. it's adjustable from a double up to a king i think
if by sturdy frame you mean head/footboard, no head or foot board, just the frame. frame is metal and solid. 10/10/2006 10:30:23 AM |

Wow lots of responses and PM! Awesome I really appreciate it.
I'm talking to the other people involved. We definitely want to get him a comfortable bed and as far as a fram we'll just buy the boy a headboard lol. As soon as I figure out how much space he has.
If the queen is a pillow top I'll probably go with that because of size limits in his room. I have a oversize queen and it takes up a bunch of space in my room (we have identical size rooms). 10/10/2006 3:38:25 PM |
