Speculation that it is Rashad Phillips, and he had surgery over the weekend and now has a few pins/screws and a long recovery ahead

I originally posted this on Statefans, and the word was it was Rashad Phillips. He is from Virginia Beach, and where the accident occured it would make sense if he was on his way home to visit family.

sucks, wonder why he went home right after the game? maybe they had a day off from practice and he wanted to see his family? if it was late thursday/early friday I guess he wasn't planning on going to class of friday.

This guy is suppossed to really be a good TE in the next coming years.

Let's hope he can come back, we really don't have much behind Hill a JR since Darby got kicked off.
