dinner last night was fucking awesome (i cooked it; dessert from Costa Coffee)

15 oz FATASS veal steak (~ 2 in thick) (medium-rare!)
zucchini, onion, cherry tomatoes, mushrooms, garlic, sauteed in ~5-6 tbsp added fat (evoo + butter)
labneh
0.5 slice cheesecake
0.5 slice double chocolate cake

i am guessing i had well over 1 grams fat total. paleo diet FTW (yes, dessert shouldn't be had on paleo, esp dessert made of grain products, but this was a cheat day!)

finished eating at 11 pm. woke up at 8 am, still feeling like there was a rock in my stomach.

btw, Costa Coffee >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Starbucks.

^^^^ Raleigh. The squid came from Grand Asia (as did the potato and green beans...meal for two: ~$6). The sardines are canned.

^^^ It was delicious.

^^ The greens are: green onion, basil (from my garden), parsley (from my garden), and cilantro (from my refrigerator...my garden cilantro has turned into coriander). There's a lot more basil and green onion than parsley and cilantro.

Left over Olive Garden.

^^^Dammit, every time I see The Rockford, I want to quit my job and move back to Raleigh asap. That was my favorite place ever and now having a real world job, I can afford to eat there every night for the rest of my life.

i know some people are all rawr it isn't good anymore, but i think it is just as good as before the closing/reopening. i have never had a bad (food) experience there. i am determined to try the whole menu!!! but i get stuck on things because they are so darn good. i hadn't had the foc. sandwich before and it was delish. the burrito is one of my fav things i have to be careful not to order it every time i go.

next time i wanna try the chicken sandwich with prosciutto.

my favs that i get stuck on for months: mozz sandwich, eggplant sandwich, burrito. trying to be a good girl and branch out! ton they had pork tacos i almost got those. and i am a side lover so i love places that rotate sides.

I always got the same two things, ABC or mozz sandwich. There might have been a third but I can't remember.

^I too have made a knockoff ABC at home.

That place meets my exacting standards for quality pizza.

But the one on Six Forks is no longer called that, even thought he sign still says it. At least according to my Living Social coupon.

Had some really mediocre and room temperature shrimp and grits. Knew I should have gotten a burger.

oh damn i missed this post. hmmm i wonder if the pizza changed since you had it then? yea the sign totally still says it. but when i googled it i was also confused. 2 websites come up. some last name brothers pizza and then the regular website (which i used to call the place). who knows. i liked the pizza. that is all i know

brown rice mixed with wild rice

is wild rice healthy? i like wild rice. i hope it isn't bad for you.

isn't white rice the worst? i try not to eat white rice anymore unless i am eating the sticky kind with my asian food.

^^ for some reason the thought of you eating yogurt makes me laugh. actually...the thought of a guy eating yogurt. i mean. i don't know why. it just does.
