some parents value the excitement of getting that MUST HAVE gift for their kid over the money. some people value playing the thing that much i guess. others use it as a status symbol for a few months.

none of that shit is worth it to me, but i can understand the theory at least.

i think youre missing something. if youre the type of person who has 2K that you can blow on a video game, are you going to want to camp out overnight outside some store or whatever to save some money?
