Just got back to my place from fall break....parents gave me a shit ton of food but I have no room in my freezer for the majority of it. I have a mini fridge in my room and whenever I turn the mini-fridge full blast it usually freezes the drinks I keep in it. Can I use my mini-fridge as a spot to put the rest of that food that needs a freezer.

freezing temp of a drink != temp of a freezer

I doubt the minifridge can keep things cold enough. It's a nice thought though. Somethings will do better in there than others. Use your own judgement as to what can handle being near freezing and what needs to be frozen through.

i've done that with my mini fridge b4. it will work, however you'll get a massive amount of freezer burn in a week or 2, so as long as you dont keep your stuff in there frozen for too long you're ok.

It really depends what it is they gave you and how long it will last in the fridge. Use Google to figure that out. Otherwise, might want to ask suitemates if they'll help you out. No idea why your parents did that ... thought was nice, but not practical.
