I just saw the ad for it on some random channel. It looks absolutely terrible.

I love Sparta. Wiretap scars was a good album, imo, and it makes me sad to see them pulling some lame shit like this.

It's pretty good, takes a few listens to grow on you. They've gone in a somewhat different direction, a few of the songs remind me of Joshua Tree-era U2. Wiretap Scars was great but I think Porcelain was better overall.

On second thought, Wiretap Scars was the better album. oops

wiretap scars was good, porcelain was ok with a few good songs and way too much drum solos, if this next album is compared to joshua tree that is a very high standard to compete against, but sparta's guitar has always been delay oriented so i'm not too surprised.

looks like i wasn't too far off base, both AP and Revolver have compared the album to U2. definitely gets better every time i listen to it.
