I saw a report that said that Carroll and USC were recruiting him hard saying he could step in and take over the position that Bush left open for them.

lol.. bush DESTROYED Va Tech. It's not like he only did that against crap Pac-10 D's. He scored every Touchdown in their win 2 years ago.

Spiller is nasty but he needs to do it week in and week out to be on the same level as Bush was in college...

also you're forgetting bush had the best passer in football on his team. anybody can be somewhat effective with just a great o-line. anybody can be somewhat effective with just a great passing game. bush had it all. iirc his only big play in the vt game was a deep ball and im talking about running backs.

Yeah he had 2 30+ yard TDs on swing passes and a real long one on a deep ball. He still absolutely owned what turned out to be one of the Top 5 defenses in the country..

** That was really Bush's coming out part too. He was never really talked that much about before that. I'm not saying Spiller isn't nasty, like I said, but he has to do it week in and week out..

Spiller is not transferring. He was considering it, but released a statement today that he will remain at Clemson. But in all honesty, i would consider transferring too.

You don't give such a explosive running back 3 touches against the 5th worst rushing defense in the nation in Kentucky.

He was considering Florida very strongly.
