This summer, I was supposed to be taking a T/H spanish class, and she was teaching one of the ones offered. I had not heard a lot about the few options I had, but when I talked to the prof I had over the summer, and had had him a semester before that, he basically said Garrigan is a guarantee for a lot of work. BUT, FLS 311 is in general a guarantee for a ton of work. 10/23/2006 6:23:03 PM |

I'm in Garrigan's 311 class now, and I had 316 with her. She is a good professor, and loves teaching. If you are in it to get out of work, don't take her class. She will assign lots of things, every night, and she grades down to the point on everything. However, if you're taking her class to learn, and are willing to work a bit for your grade, I would highly recommend her. It is not difficult to get an A in her class if you keep up with the homework. There are no tests, there is not a final. You write papers, and hand in your homework, and that's it. If you want more specific information, feel free to send me a PM. 10/23/2006 8:51:09 PM |
