I'm tired of those shitty chinese crap jacks that leak after about 10 uses or are so freakin hard to push its like going to the gym. I need a fairly low jack 3.25-3.8 inches seated, that also can go at least 20" high. Also at least 2.5tons as I lift some pretty heavy crap sometimes. Anybody got a brand to look for or stay away from.
So far i have figured that: pro-lift jacks are shitty torin jacks are shitty Any current sears/craftsman are shitty otc bargin jacks are shitty otc regular jacks are good but $$$ Norco may be good but cannot find any Milwaukee are 100% made in USA are out of my price range. Napa is overpriced

^^i've heard those are decent. my dad has the aluminum one that harbor freight sells and a steel one from there. both are holding up fine after ~3 years. hard to beat the price.
personally, i own a blackhawk that's about 15-20 years old. still works fine, and i've never greased it or added and hydro fluid. 10/23/2006 7:38:37 PM |

^^Dude I love that AFF 200T jack. 2.75" seated, thats amazing. Did you get your jack off of asedeals.com or did you go local? Have you used it much? Would you buy again? 10/23/2006 8:06:00 PM |

I got mine from Sam's, but it was about 3 or 4 years ago. Michelin 3.5 ton. Two speed (quick travel when unloaded).
