I am a finance major considering a minor in accounting...to all you accounting people who have taken upper level accounting courses(acc 420, and 411), should I bother with accounting 310 or is that class necessary to do well in 420 or 411. I have already taken accounting 200 and 210. Thanks

If you actually want to understand the real ins and outs of accounting, I would recommend Acc 310 and Acc 311. They aren't the most fun classes, but build a strong background. If you ever decide to persue a more accounting-geared career, then those two are definitely vital - and are required for most beginning accounting jobs. But besides all of that - Acc 420 builds from Acc 200, and Acc 411 uses Bus 320 and Bus 350. You should be able to do just fine in these classes with 310/311
