<3 Inu Yasha. VERY good show. I am guessing they will start it from the beginning on Monday. I would highly recommend catching it. 10/26/2006 7:14:31 PM |

i doubt they start at the beginning. they will likely re run the last season. 10/26/2006 10:00:01 PM |

As long as they don't ditch it. But I'd like if they brought back EVA in place of whatever this new puppet chow is and keep Robot Chicken on Sunday nights. 10/26/2006 10:19:37 PM |

i havent watched this in years...it's finally over?
i agree with the poster who said that it was good until they dragged it out so long. 10/27/2006 12:26:03 AM |

There is no way that this was the last episode. There is so much left unresolved. Adult Swim must have been on crack or something. Maybe season finale or something. 10/27/2006 12:56:23 AM |

I haven't kept up with this series, I've watched it on and off, but it's pretty good. But what the hell kind of "final" episode was that? No resolution whatsoever.

I wouldn't mind that, although I don't mind Robot Chicken being shown on week nights (I am getting tired of seem the same goddamn episode every other night, though). At least they put it in place of Pee Wee's Playhouse. I still don't know what the hell Adult Swim was thinking when they put that show in the line-up. But these are the same fools who wouldn't pick up Big O for a third season, so I should have expected as much.10/27/2006 3:03:56 AM |

Big O started to grow on me. How about this, they have two Robot Chickens (like they used to) and instead of two Futuramas (don't shoot me! ) they show EVA in it's place. Pee-Wee was a neat idea but it got old fairly quickly. 10/27/2006 8:13:46 AM |

From what I understand, this is where the series ended in Japan (aka, this was the LAST episode). I really can't see it being completely over though. They left some cliffhangers that would not make sense unless they planned on something like a finishing movie or a mini-series sort of deal (aka the guy with the demon arm missing from his grave). Perhaps like FMA, where they left some things open but finished it in a movie. I hope to god that whatever they do, it doesn't end up like the Evangelion movie.
However, nothing is planned from what I understand.

^Maybe, but the difference between Inuyasha and FMA is that at least FMA wrapped a bunch of things up. There could have been no movie and you'd still feel like the show had truly ended. Inuyasha just flat-out fuckin' quit on us.
And why the hatin' for the Evangelion movie? That was some delightfully fucked-up repugnant shit. 10/27/2006 1:06:00 PM |

Ok, the first part of the Evangelian movie was just another recap of the whole series, like several other episodes they already played. Also, it only had HALF of the movie on it when it was first released, and the other half was released like a year later or some crazy shit. I apologize, but I cannot support such stupidity.
Oh, and I realize that FMA ended well (minus the movie). It reminded me a lot of how Gundam Wing ended. 10/27/2006 9:05:40 PM |

^Oh okay. I don't normally watch the series re-cap, so I forgot that it was a part of the movie. The re-cap was unnecessary and pointless, I agree. The only reason you should watch it is if you've never seen the series and don't know what's going on, and if that's the case then you have no business watching the movie to begin with. I just meant that the actual movie itself was delightfully fucked-up.
As for splitting the movie in half and showing them a year apart, I guess I can agree that that was also retarded. 10/27/2006 9:34:24 PM |

the inu yasha anime ended abruptly because the manga is still ongoing. for FMA the manga and the anime were totally different so they were able to end the FMA anime even though the manga was still ongoing. I'm positive that inu yasha OVAs will be made as more manga is. Its the main problem and the reason for filler in animes based on manga, the anime catches up too quickly. Its often the reason that great anime shows have incredibly shitty endings. 10/27/2006 10:06:40 PM |
