it sounds like a dumb question, and probably IS a dumb question, but it's seriously annoying me

all of my folders are in list view and show up like that when i open them through explorer...but when i'm saving an image from the internet, or opening a picture within ms word or something, the "my pictures" folder is always in thumbnail view...only in those pop-up windows

it's driving me nuts

uncheck "remember each folders view setting" or whatever in folder options?
