I'm not sure if this is an insect or spider. I found it jumping around in my room. It had more legs before I killed it. I'm guessing it is an insect because it has antennae. Here are a few pictures I took on micro mode. If they aren't very clear I will try to take more.

Cricket

I used to call them jumping spiders, but it's some kind of cricket.

They're cool looking critters, but will multiply like rabbits if you don't take care of them now.

Camel Crickets SUCK. They don't do much, but love hopping around the lower parts of your home...like the crawl space or basement. Those fuckers are huge.

I got a million of those fuckers in the crawl space under my house and they seem to find their way indoors a lot. One day I was walking down the hall and stepped on one and it made this really loud pop. I was like WTF was that and noticed a flattened camel cricket under my shoe. Usually if I see them indoors I just spray with some flying insect killer, it seems to do the trick. One day when I get around to it Im going to fumigate my crawl space.
