I'm not sure if this is an insect or spider. I found it jumping around in my room. It had more legs before I killed it. I'm guessing it is an insect because it has antennae. Here are a few pictures I took on micro mode. If they aren't very clear I will try to take more.

Cricket
I used to call them jumping spiders, but it's some kind of cricket.

They're cool looking critters, but will multiply like rabbits if you don't take care of them now. 10/30/2006 10:33:09 PM |

Camel Crickets SUCK. They don't do much, but love hopping around the lower parts of your home...like the crawl space or basement. Those fuckers are huge. 10/31/2006 2:31:31 AM |

I got a million of those fuckers in the crawl space under my house and they seem to find their way indoors a lot. One day I was walking down the hall and stepped on one and it made this really loud pop. I was like WTF was that and noticed a flattened camel cricket under my shoe. Usually if I see them indoors I just spray with some flying insect killer, it seems to do the trick. One day when I get around to it Im going to fumigate my crawl space. 10/31/2006 7:51:16 AM |
