...is really worrying me.

This is the latest now:

Quote :
"ATLANTA (Oct. 31) - A salmonella outbreak potentially linked to produce has sickened at least 172 people in 18 states, health officials said Monday. Health officials think the bacteria may have spread through some form of produce; the list of suspects includes lettuce and tomatoes. But the illnesses have not been tied to any specific product, chain, restaurants or supermarkets. "

If you pay any attention at all to the people who get sick and die from this stuff, you'll see that it's mostly young children and the elderly. Practice good food sanitation habits at home and you'll have nothing to fear.

Well....true to some extent.

But, have you read what the article said? It said out of the 173 people who got sick yesterday, the majority were adults.

^ They don't say it specifically, but I'll bet the vast majority are lderly or people who are somehow prone to sickness.

172 people with weak ass immune systems

none the less, just cook or heat everything yout eat to 150 degrees or whatever the cut off is for killing it and you have no worries

you act like you cant prevent this from happening or something

like we are all going to DIE

the problem is when it contaminates foods that people don't always cook, like the spinach, lettuce, tomatoes

I posted this as an informative move, not out of concern for MYSELF.

Even though I did start it off with, "is really worrying me"

What did you eat? Hope you get better.
