Now calm down, calm down. Not that people are all anti-global warming and all, but global warming is just one of those topics that have been beaten nearly to death here. Usually, when a new thread is started up, it's for a significant new revelation.

Also in the future, if you bring up the issue of global warming, I would recommend that you cite many of the fine pieces of scientific research establishing warming trends instead of using one warm day as an example that the polar icecaps are about to melt. A single warm day for one tiny corner of the planet isn't enough evidence to really prove anything.

Or, you could always contribute to one of the many other global warming discussions we've had here in the Soap Box. Don't be discouraged. Welcome to the Soap Box.

The high for today is 70 degrees. If it feels like 80 it is because you are in direct sunlight or some shit.

The record high for November 10th was 81 degrees set in 1975, 11 degrees higher than today's high. If we really wanted to base our belief of global warming on a single day then we must conclude the planet is spiraling into an ever colder ice age.
