Ok, this will probably end up being a dumb question but I need a history and all the ones that fit well with my schedule have this restriction:
CLASS=FR OR SO;MAJOR=LAH OR LSH OR LTH
Do I have to meet both restrictions, sophomore and the major. Or is it just that you have to meet one or the other. I haven't yet registered. So if it turns out I have to meet both, then I would rather look for other options then in the morning. 11/1/2006 10:55:05 PM |

ok i kinda got a restricted course question(if anyone here knows, feel free to pm me)...so over the summer i got a email saying that the records show i was trying to get my minor in business and that like 3 300 level business courses were being offered to non business major students...one of these was bus 370(the one i want to take), but when i tried to sign up for it for the spring, it wouldnt let me
should i wait for another email or will it eventually open up or what? 11/2/2006 12:50:04 AM |

I say be proactive about it and call the BUS department to find out what's up. Once you do, and if you are locked out, see if your advisor can force add you. Section 001 has more than enough seats open ... I don't think there would a problem ... especially for a graduating senior.11/2/2006 7:58:14 AM |

this is what a lady from the history dept. told me when i asked her that exact question:
Quote : | "The 3 seats that you are asking about are restricted to Freshman and Sophomores for our major all other seats are open for any student that wants to take the course. Some time in Dec or the beginning of Jan the restricting will be dropped and the wait lists will be activated. If you are places on a wait list, go to the first day of class as you will be one of the first to be added to the course, if there is room. " |

SP = Special (Lifelong Education UGS or PBS)
It's used mostly (if not only) for distance education courses. 11/2/2006 11:30:16 AM |
