well I didn't really want a refurb. I had been checking Circuit City and they constantly had one for 110. I had been planning on buying it after my credit card came in...after it did...they took it off their webpage. Now I can't find a new 1gb nano for 110 anywhere.

yea, not anymore ... you cannot buy a 2nd generation nano that is only 1gb, the minimum is 2gb, and the minimum price is $149. apple doesn't create "deals" for new products ... so whatever you saw at circuit city, they were trying to sell you an old one.

yeh...i know it was an old one...or last gen anyway. I wasn't really worried about that...it wasn't refurb though so it would appear "brand new". That's my only problem with the refurb ones...Bob Ryan, when you bought yours was there any indication that it was refurb on the box? or did it appear brand new? you know what I mean...I don't want to give something to her and it be like "hey i couldn't afford a new one so I got you this used one for cheaper" ya know?

hell no i'm not tellin her to eat shit and die...def. not get any pussy off of that comment...but I did however like the comment of loading all of the mushy songs that "made me think of her" on it...def. a great idea. I also thought of a way I could pull that off even easier...I have the old box to my Nano so I think I can put it in the box and make it look all good and just say that I unwrapped it to put all the songs on it for her...basically same concept you came up with, I just didn't know I still had the old box. so could work out verrrrrry niiiiiiice.
