I think we shoudl keep running them more often.. B/C obviously, the more we run them, the more of a chance that it might work. I think instead of running them once out of every 4 plays..jsut make it 2 out of every 4.

its fucking rediculous that out of all the running plays we ran, 3/4 of them were draws and 4/4ths of those draws were fucking stuffed

The only time you can run out of the shotgun either when....

1). You have a quarterback that is also a threat to run

or

2). You run a trick play that wont work more than once.

Someone tell our coordinators this.

I would have rather him throw for the amount of draws that we would have run. We probably would have come up with the same net average.

a shotgun draw on 3rd and 10 in the redzone is the type of shit that should get an OC fired midgame.

[Edited on November 5, 2006 at 1:29 AM. Reason : AFTER a timeout no less IIRC]

when the score board says that evans has run for 16 yards and our back shave both run 8 yards each, one should figure out that running isn't going to work this game

yet i don't understand why we ran three straight times in the red zone and didnt' even attempt to throw one in the enzone

I had the joy of sitting in the NEZ to see all the missed oppurtunities.

But hey.....look at the bright side. At least we got to help Calvin Johnson's draft stock.

3). When you have been successfully passing out of the shotgun for a few plays

[Edited on November 5, 2006 at 3:29 AM. Reason : ^i think he was commenting on the ineffectiveness of our shotgun draws]

hahaha! how great would it be to be watching the clemson game next sat on TV, then during a 4th down punt play you hear the announcers say,

"it's come to our attention that trestman, the offensive coordinator, has been.... fired... from the team.... right now. NC State will play the remainder of the game without an offensive coordinator."
