our running game is so predictable that we couldn't get anything out of it last night. we did really well at taking the ball vertical down the field, but apparently chuck doesn't like seeing that called unless we're getting desperate. Apparently he doesn't believe in desperation in the final 2 minutes of the game either, because he was content to take the ball 7-10 yards at a time across the middle of the field. He needed to be saving all of his timeouts for in the event that we happened to turn the ball over or miss the 2-pt conversion. Chuck managed to save the timeouts, but that playcalling of his ran an additional 25 seconds off the clock that shouldn't have ticked off in the first place.
