Alright, the car has been prepped and is awaiting paint at a shop, but I am having trouble deciding on a color. The car was originally a cherry red - although it was repainted yellow before I was born. Now I want to go back to a deep, rich red (probably another cherry red - just something without a lot of orange or purple in it) and I want it to look alright with the chrome. Are there any paints or color codes from stock cars you would recommend? I was thinking maybe PPG cherry red or possibly the cherry red from a ford mustang. Anyone else have any suggestions for a nice red?

For this car:

side note: If the original color wasn't red I would probably go with BRG

The Ford Maroon/red is pretty hott...........Saw it on a Nigavigator. If you know anyone @ a body shop they usually have books with samples of all the current stuff out. Oh and one more thing.
