due to the games available and the comprehensiveness of xbox live - x360 is the winner in my book.

just play gears of war if you say that ps3 is so much better visually or xyz blah blah.

plus MGS4 is rumored to come to 360, which is one of the few Sony big-names moving away. Only thing else is DMC4, God of War, and Final Fantasy series

Gran Turismo is to Sony what Halo is to Microsoft for me personally... I purchased my xbox souly to play Halo... and I almost purchased a PS2 to play GT3

but $600 isn't an impulse buy... so I probably won't be doing the same thing this time around considering how beautiful my 360 looks on my 37" 1080p LCD

In regards to gears of war commentary:

Its an FPS

It has good graphics

It has a very fun to play co-op

^^^gears of war actually has great controls once you get used to it...the "roadie run" is made to be difficult and isn't for all of the navigation.

all the pc-keyboard-fps fanboy talk is stupid because i've played several fps (even though gears of war is in the third person) with better controls than the pc version

^yeah there are several things sony has done that have pushed me away from wanting a ps3...i'll probably wait until they are widespread, have good games, and a price drop before i consider it.

xbox 360 and nintendo wii are both better for the price at this time imo...i'll probably add a wii to my systems before a ps3

true, but everyone plays with that handicap so who really cares? if you can control your chars reasonably well and are having fun, it doesnt really matter what controls you are using.
