I wear my sabres jersey, but I live in Charlotte, and we are civil here, and really, the canes havent caught on here yet and well, no-one in Charlotte is from Charlotte (it seems)


We actually had a good table of equal Sabres and Canes fans and we had a great time.

Sometimes, being a real hockey fan is all about feeling internally confident about your team and not being an ass about it. ALL fans should just appreciate that fact that after the strike people are, thank god, still loving the game.

Buffalo has a great squad this year... as a Hurricane fan I can say that.

It doesn't change the fact that I hate the Sabres

Most importantly, it sucks that the Buffalo fans can really tarnish the image of a successful team.

If I were the Sabres I'd try to dis-associate my team from the fans.
