Position Vacancy Status: Accepting Applications
Description: Under general supervision of the Network Administrator, install, configure and maintain the City's local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN). Involves troubleshooting and evaluating network efficiency. Make changes to increase bandwidth, when necessary.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a closely related field * 3-4 years network systems installation evaluation and troubleshooting; or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. * Valid North Carolina Class "C" Driver's License * CCNA/CCNP preferred (Cisco Certified Network Administrator/Cisco certified Network Professional)
