such a great show, own the dvd's, seen them many times

I wish the producers would get together and do another wwII series

Even though they are actors, some of their characters seemed like they would've been cool as hell to hang out with

I got home last night from dinner around 12am, and pulled up Episode 4 "Carentan" on Indemand and watched half as I fell asleep

yeah this series is great, and i could fall asleep during caretan or bastonge but probably not the others. certianly not the last two. i did fall asleep watching the we stand alone together special though, but its because i was too tired.

its a damn fine episode, but ive seen it so many times in the past two weeks i know the dialog by heart.

and a lot of the war was funnier from pattons perspective.

I watch it about twice a year....

I thought the ending was good when you actually meet the guys who went through that....

I still want the dvd
I don't have hbo anymore so i have to wait for it to come on the history channel every now and then.

Definitely on my top 5 favorite movies ever (even though it is a mini series )

goin to watch the 3rd episode as we speak. ive watched them all a few times but it doesnt get old. best scene is when they all drop in at the beginning of episode 2

The Pacific is great too.
