i know a few people from alabama, and i can definitely verify this

of course, it'd be a 365 day deal for me too if that's all i had on my state's sports scene most years

yeah, I would have it as the strongest rivalry in sports overall... michigan/ohio state has been bigger lately, but over the entire history of the rivalry I think Bama/Auburn is #1.

yeah there aint shit else to do in Bama sports wise.. and NO ONE cares about UAB, unless they win a big game.


Imagine how big the unc-ch/dook bball game would be if they were the only 2 major bball teams in the state... and no major pro sports team at all... And they only played once a year in bball....


Or you could replace State with dook and it would be the same..

And the Auburn/Bama rilvary doesn't extend to bball as much.
