Actually, he's 8th (& only makes 7k more than Grobe for 8th).. Coker makes more, but his actual total income isn't listed.


Weis & JoePa aren't listed either, but likely make more, so he'd likely be 45th.

Beamer gets 2M & Coker makes at least 1.8, so Butch will definetly be among the highest paid, if not tops.

Bunting was the lowest paid coach of any of the power conferences at 311k (of those that are known anyway).

Ya, Iowa gave him a raise b/c there were some NFL teams interested in him.

And I think Iowa has been pretty good with him. I would call 2 big10 co-championships something, including a BCS bowl. Since 01, their records are 11-2, 10-3, 10-2 & 7-5. I would be very happy with those kind of results.

No way Bunting makes/made just 311K. Sorry to disappoint. I'm guessing his "other income" is close to 500K and total salary would be close to a million.
