any bmw owners here have had experience dealing with the "disc error" message concerning the oem cd changer? 95 3series here.

i looked at some other forums and seems that most people are having problems with the cartridge/disc being jammed in the changer. however, my cartridge still goes in and out fine. the unit just doesn't read anything i put in.

mine does that occasionally, it goes away on its own.

just normal audio cds. doesn't read mp3s, i've tried. anyway, it has been working fine ever since i purchased the car. it just decided to crap out last week.

how quickly does it go away for you E30turbo? it's stayed like this since it first occured.
