does anyone one know if there is going to be a second shipping of ps3's coming in before christmas, and how much perhaps.

ok, from my wait at walmart yesterday here is what i know

from corporate walmart they are expecting that rainchecks (first people who have dibs on new systems) will be able to collect their ps3s in no later than 3 weeks. that is when they expect they will be able to replenish. from talking to the manager at walmart it seems that walmart didn't really no how many they had. hence the ads stating 10 per store when really most stores got 6.

best buy will probably squat on theirs for a massive launch. that should be a good time to get one. and then it just depends. from what i remember about the xbox 360, other stores like walmart and target get trucks weekly, sometimes they're up there sometimes they're not. you just gotta call and find out. be persistent. i know i will.

^some didn't even have that many. last night when i rode by garner station walmart, they had two.

Not to disagree with you Vern, but I've seen Best Buy employees intentionally lie about console order inventory before.
