I'm starting a job there on Monday and I'm excited.

Anyone else work there? Wanna get lunch sometime?

all i know is that one of you needs to get their stock unfucked. I bought it at $13, got greedy and didn't sell it when it was at $31, and had to watch it crumble down to $16.

I work part-time in QA for the Red Hat Network department. It's an awesome job... busy, but a lot of fun and a great diversion from school. There are at least a few NCSU students or graduates in BC&D, so it looks like that should be a good time as well.

Running Linux on your own more than qualifies you for any position in the entire company.

Assuming you're working in the office on Centennial Campus, I work right across the street in EB2.

I told our HR lady they needed to hire this hot chick I saw leaving one day after her interview.

They hired some Japanese married girl. Not so good English. Not so good to look at.

Dudette

Half the people on the wolf web are unemployed

A quarter failing out of College

and a third (of the remainder) actively participating in majors that don't really generate any revenue for the Economy.

Probably not the best place to announce your career.

Either way, Grats! I've heard its a nice place to work.

As a side note, if you ever want to grab lunch, just drop me a line.

Mondays are the only days I'm generally unavailable.

Similar to Stein, a few other TWWers and I work in Venture 3. Walking to Mission Valley is a common occurrence for lunch.

Just going off of my original question, but I applied for a couple of spots through their website and was wondering if anyone had any experience doing that/how long it took to get a response/how'd they end up with a job there?

Someone hook me up with a job there. I'm tired of driving to RTP when Centennial Campus is only a few miles away.

Minkagrl, are the open positions in Brand Communications and Design (the ones listed on the website) still being filled?

Well I doubt they would have anything listed on their Web site if they weren't still looking for people.

BTW, my internship is over and I'm not there anymore.

hey you Red Hat people.

why the fuck wont Fedora Core work right with many popular PCI video cards (nVidia, ATI) on Dell Dimensions? Its been broken ever since FC3. I mean its not like its some obscure combo. and it used to work on FC1, RH9 and previous. its pretty obnoxious.

and dont tell me you dont support FC. because i know you do, down there in your secret laboratories.

I could never get a job there because I absolutely HATE the application system that they have on their website.

That being said, can you get me a job in their design/multimedia department?

I think the key word is "greedy". From $13 to $16 is a 23% return on your investment, thats not bad.
