Hey guys, I'm not quite feeling right and not getting very far on Google other than 'pregnant,' which hopefully improbable since I'm a guy.

I think it's just nervousness though, went through a wedding and have a bunch of work to do, test and papers!

Let's see:
Started with shortness of breath in general, which would pass.
This also seems to come along with a 'sore throat' or near swelling of throat.

Then, more recently:
Tingling of face and arms.

Nothing I run across before, except one time I thought some nodes in my throat were swelling up when I was really nervous and stressed once. However, I and a lady friend had similar symptons near the same time and it might've been a virus or something. I have something of a cold, strep maybe?

Please let me know!

reminds me of when I had mono, except mine got much much worse than the symptoms you describe...but you're probably right, just a stress thing...I'd still get it checked out by a doctor though.

Fortunately or unfortunately I don't think it's mono, and I haven't seen an asian in a while for SARS to count .

Well, if chuck norris says I have aids...

I'm starting to feel better now and it's good to know that you all don't think I have anything too surius. I'll probably check into Student Health when I get in to make sure I don't have that big strep word, considering a chemE partner had some kind of sickness.

I just have to get up at 4 am here to catch a plane ride from Dallas to Raleigh now...yay.

i would go with panic attacks/anxiety disorders coupled with hyperventilation

thats what i have been diagnosed with....shortness of breath, tightness in the throat all point to that

the tingling could just be another way your body is dealing with the stress and anxiety

in extreme panic attacks, i have small twitches all over

go to the doctor and get xanax...fell better
