OK...One of you guys has to have a way around "downloading a windows codec" or something to watch certain DVD's on WMP. There is a link that windows supplies you for plug-ins, but they all cost like 15 bucks. The only think I could figure out was to download some random DVD player on download.com, but that seems to be only a temporary fix because they all seem to have a trial period that ends after about 20 days or so.  11/22/2006 4:01:21 PM

Download VLC Media Player. It can provide DVD playback and offers a number of codecs built-in. WMP as a general rule sucks. I really like PowerDVD, but its commercial / usually bundled software with a computer or dvdrw purchase.
