Ok, so I know that we are all poor college students who barely get by. Also, Christmas is around the corner and we need all of our spare cash for shopping. BUT, please think about this...
St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is a great facility where sick children are treated at no cost to the patient's family. No child is ever turned away because of the inability to pay the medical costs. The hospital covers expenses for treatment, travel, food and lodging for patients and families. Obviously, the money has to come from some place. There is a program called "Thanks and Giving" which is a way for people to donate and help pay for the expenses of the hospital so that more care and research can be given/preformed.
I am not associated with the hospital. I work for Pottery Barn Kids and they give a donation every year. I think it is a great program, and I am just trying to help out St. Jude a little bit more. So, if you have an extra dollar or two, please think about donating to the hospital. You can even donate in someone's name (maybe as a Christmas present for an unselfish person). When you shop at the mall, every Pottery Barn, Pottery Barn Kids, Pottery Barn Teen and Williams-Sonoma will be able to donate whatever amount at the register. Every little bit helps
