It's a normal 10 gallon tank. It has a crack that's about 12 inches long near the bottom on one side. I don't know if it could be repaired to hold water but would be fine for a hamster or mouse, ect. 11/27/2006 10:47:46 PM |

if it's got sharp edges on the inside bottom/lower sides it might. they scratch around a lot, and their paws are pretty tiny so it could catch... 11/28/2006 12:51:06 AM |

^Yeah I know, as I said before, I don't think it would cut them. Pictures coming this afternoon.

you could use aquarium silicone to both cover the sharp edge and make it water tight
I make a custom aquarium to fit inside an old computer out of plain cut pieces of glass using aquarium silicone to join them and it never leaked http://www.northcoastmarines.com/silicone_sealer.htm 11/28/2006 12:24:34 PM |

I believe you could get a brand new one for the price of the silicone, if its a 10 gal. 11/28/2006 3:21:07 PM |

^Yep, I think they are $10 at Walmart.
Here are the pictures:
I can only see the crack in the middle in this picture. It actually goes all the way to the left side.
A closer shot of the crack. The color is off in this picture... the first one is what it really looks like. 11/28/2006 6:14:04 PM |
