you could actually put a corvair motor in a 914.... it would be pretty stupid though 12/1/2006 2:45:16 AM |

There have been several companies that did a kit to put a small block in the 914...two that come to mind are Jaidecar and Renegade Customs.
A Buick 3800 would be PERFECT for that baby. 12/1/2006 8:44:55 AM |

914 used in driving schools used to crack in half from the stress after 2 years... it'd be sick till your car was in pieces. that or your putting in some mean ass chassis braceing. 12/1/2006 2:15:27 PM |

the 914 motor is fine, no reason to pull it. 12/1/2006 2:28:14 PM |

don't 914's run 17's in the 1/4 though? Might as well get a Miata... similar type of car but faster, and it's not like you get much prestige from driving a Porsche 914 12/2/2006 12:17:20 AM |

With stiff suspension the 914 will lift the inside front tire 6" in a tight turn. That's hella tyte right there. 12/2/2006 1:39:54 AM |
