Well, I was just wondering was happens to coffee if i let it sit for like about a day or two. Does the caffeine lose its ability to make you stay awake, or does it just stay there? I tried googliing it but i couldnt find anything 12/3/2006 3:09:45 AM |

warm it in the microwave and you're golden. plus people drink iced coffee and that stuff probably sits in the fridge for a few days. 12/3/2006 4:22:55 AM |

I dont know man... day-old to two day-old coffee just kind of tastes like shit.
Caffeine still works, but it just tastes stale.
your call on actually drinking it though, but might as well just make some fresh coffee. 12/4/2006 11:56:09 AM |

The coffee in the stuff you can buy from the store (starbucks lattes, etc) has been in those bottles for weeks or months. I wouldn't worry about losing the caffine, it will just taste like shit 12/4/2006 12:14:15 PM |

Coffee molds pretty quickly (most liquids with organic compounds in them will). I wouldn't drink coffee, heated or not, unless you reboil it (in which case it will taste like crap) that's more than a few hours old, unless you want to get sick. 12/4/2006 12:25:29 PM |
