The trailer is quality.

Looks better than any of the other sequels, it does.

I like Rocky III the best. I love it when Rocky and Apollo are playing in the beach, all splashing.

the great thing with the Rocky series is the soundtrack... I hope they find a good adrenaline pumped testosterone drenched male dominant song for this new Rocky.

this movie is going to be amazing. write it down. online with rocky 2ish ... maybe not as good as 4 but a far cry from 5

and ... sly is a massive 60 year old... it's been said, but if I look like him when I hit 60 .. I did something right.

you have a point. i want to still be able to even work out when im sixty, much less be built like a dang ox.
i also highly doubt this movie could ever touch R4, but it looks pretty good to me

i'm gonna see it, no doubt. i lived in philly the past two years and the filming of this movie kept me from getting drunk a couple of my favorite bars a few nights last fall. i'd be like "ey yo. what's up with the cameras?" and the bouncer would be like "they're filming a new rocky movie." and i'd be like "you're bullshitting me. no way there's another rocky movie coming out. you serious?" and the bouncer would say "i ain't hear no bell..."

Ain't It Cool News has a great interview with Stallone. It takes place over about 20 (YES, 20!) days and they take internet questions and he answers about ten-fifteen each day. He is very honest and candid, and has a great sense of humor.

My favorite answer so far was an explanation of how the three seashells in Demolition Man worked.

my question to you is how far did you run in the first rocky my little brother says you ran 22 miles from your house to the stairs is that true?

thanks for your time and thanks for making great movies

Mike Glasner

SLY

Perhaps in the movie, that was proper distance from Kensington AKA Fishtown, to the stairs. It would be approximately that far. Considering I have a hard time running 22 feet without getting distracted, it’s a safe bet to say I didn’t rack up all that mileage.

76% on the Tomatometer right now, and 90% from the Cream of the Crop reviewers.

I'm going to the first show tomorrow.

Yeah it's only like 5 miles max from Kensington to the Art Museum.....

it was weird. something about using two of them like chopsticks and gently scraping, and then something else with the third. it still made no sense, but the fact that he had an answer was awesome.

holy crap. really. I didn't think it was all that good.

the last half hour was pretty awesome. when it finally got to training/fighting. The fighting in Rocky films are always intense and entertaining.

He really tried to fit a lot of story in the first hour to wrap things up. Ended up being way too boring/slow for my taste.

Like all the Rocky movies Sylvester Stallone tries to mirror his real life into the story. So the first hour is just him being sad and pathetic. The last half hour he finally decides he's got something to prove to the world, like... that he can still be an actor and everyone should watch the new Rambo movie coming out next year.

I'm surprised this movie is above a 60%. The fact that is Rocky and makes people feel nostalgic and the overall message of the movie really helps.

i saw it with Thorsten and i didn't like it all that much. it was painful to watch until he started training and there are some god awful lines in this movie (with 2 particularly funny ones...mainly the "indian" one).

i would be disappointed if i paid $8 to see this movie

Definitly seeing Rocky before the weekend's out. It'd be my Italian Xmas gift to myself

and i've heard reviews saying that "hey its not total crap like we thought!" which leads me to be hopeful this will be a waaaaay better ending to the saga than Rocky V.
