STAY THE FUCK AWAY FROM FOSTERS near west gate rd, biggest group of crooks i have ever come across. Absolutely the worst car related experience i have ever had.

middle May of last year, wifes car gets hit in the parking lot needs new rear tail gate, goes to fosters. It takes until mid june to get the car back. Flaws in paint, bondo popping out of "new tailgate". Left it there, get it back mid july. Looks ok, drive home, discover none of the lights or rear defroster work. Keep it another day, bondo pops out again on supposedly this second "new" tailgate. Back to fosters, get it back mid july, take it on honeymoon, while on honeymoon tailgate lock quits working, rear defroster does not work, then the tailgate fell off the hinges. Back to fosters for another month. New hinges installed, paint touched up, still didnt fix the electrical. manager offers to buy me a steak dinner if I fix it. I take tailgate apart, discover the gray wire spliced to a blue wire, the black wire spliced to a red wire, etc. Rewire tailgate, good to go. About october, an outward dimple appears in tailgate, the wiper motor came loose and punched an outward dent in the tailgate. This likely had something to do with sheet metal screws crudely installed into holes for machine screws. At this point, i was fed up, fixed the motor and live with the dent. This spring the lock quit working again. Took it apart, lock mechanism linkage constructed out of coat hanger, awesome work. Made new one out of new coat hanger, discovered the had stretched the wire too tight and it had broken the wire as well.

Bottom line, shitty worksmanship, poor customer service. Though i didnt spend a dime, my wife was without a car for several months, and i spent a lot of time fixing their work.

Southern states replaced my bumper when a jeep hit me from behind. The people up front are real nice (offering to call for a car/take care of rental). The estimators were thorough--took pictures, sat me down in the office, worked up a quote. They ordered the part quick, had it fixed in no time. I recommend.

Besides, they are part of a dealership...even though dealers are known for trying to get more $ out of you, they still have to uphold their image and reputation.

i have been in 2 accidents with my lexus. I have taken it to true2form each time. The work is to notch, and the customer service is wonderful. If i had to go anywhere, true2form is where i would be.

i took mine to Raleigh Auto Body...
not satisfied.
they accidently sprayed my side mirror with the paint and now my mirror looks like its been sand blasted, except with a silver tint (cause my car is silver).
also they worked on both of my bumpers and they didnt fit flush with the quarterpanels
not satistied.

someone told me Renn Auto Body in Durham is the bestestest.

Yeah they got white paint on my hood and the finish/clear coat seems rather subpar. But I think they did a better job on mine than yours. Not the best, but I guess I got what I paid for.
