I've never seen that video, but I was on the 4th row in section 6 for that game and I heard the pop. I was surprised TA got up after that hit.


Is that a legal hit these days? Dont know if they would throw the flag for helmet to helmet contact, but it seems pretty obvious that he made no attempt to hit him anywhere but the head. Maybe thats just NFL.

That USC linbacker made a blatant helmet to helmet hit on the UCLA QB on Saturday and no one seemed to care so I am guessing that hits like that and the one TA suffered are legal and always have been.
