Since I went to Africa a year ago and saw the wildlife, this is so cool for me:
http://live.wildlife.wavelit.net/451OK
Right now, there is a small herd of Cape Buffalo in there. Been reports of lots of varieties of animals.
On second thought, those might be blue wildabeast

When we were there, our hunting reserve (erindi) served us as much Amarula as we could take...
It was AWESOME. 12/8/2006 9:53:55 AM |

ah, so did you get to hunt?
Kruger is a preserve... so the only hunting is with a camera.
yeah that amarula is damn good too. They recently started carrying it at the ABC stores here as well. 12/8/2006 9:59:24 AM |

Yes, I did hunt.
I killed: a large kudu (seen above in picture), a gemsbuck/oryx, a red hartebeast, a springbok and an impala
My dad killed: a kudu, a red hartebeast, a springbok, a blue wildabeast, a black wildabeast and an impala

Too bad they don't have one of those slick AXIS cams like I have at work that you can remote operate. Course they are bandwidth hogs and just about kill any machine not on the fiber network. 12/9/2006 11:49:17 AM |

you're an ignorant idiot.. what kind of hunting ranch would allow harvesting of an endangered species?

Unethical, barely regulated ones. Of which there are more than a few in Africa.
That said, there are two species of endangered oryx and one endangered species of impala. Scimitar-horned oryx - not likely, as it's a northern african creature. The other is the arabian oryx. the black-faced impala's range is angola and namibia (gotta love defining an animal's range by political borders, eh?).12/9/2006 9:33:16 PM |
Nashattack All American 7022 Posts user info edit post |
fuckin hippy.. a ranch wouldn't put all their land on the line for one kill
The guy who owned the ranch in Namibia said that if they ever killed an endangered species, all their land would be seized... only some dumbfucks would do that
but I imagine you know of every single one out there that does that since you are a tree hugger, eh? bet you're all over that one..
anyways.. this arguement is not for this thread.. create another one and i'll be glad to continue with you there... this one is for observing the awesome spectacle that is AFRICA!
after reading your post again, i guess you weren't attacking me.. sorry for seeming hostile, i just hate people like PETA (but thats a whole other story).. whether you are one or not, I apologize.. too lazy to retype tho
