does anyone know the hours for this? in two parts of the transportation website it says 7-9am and after 2pm in "DC", "DD" and "EM" and "EC" zones; however in another part it says 7-9am and 2-5pm. if it's limited to 5pm then i'm not going to buy it. just wondering if anyone knows so i don't have to wait until monday to call. thanks. 12/8/2006 8:29:44 PM |

Most parking spots are free/open after 5pm. (exceptions: reserved, AS, etc.)
So... 2-5pm and after 2pm are functionally equivalent for DC, DD, EM and EC. 12/8/2006 8:38:18 PM |

ah i guess that makes sense. for some reason i was thinking the DC deck had the permit thing in effect until 11pm or so, but that's just the pay parking 12/8/2006 8:45:31 PM |

hold your horses....
The deck permits to last until 11pm. the only spots that end at 5 are West lot, and employeee.
The DC, DD, DE all go till 11pm.
This L permit though is what alot of the athletes get and to the best of my knowledge the L permit does function for everything after 2pm. 12/10/2006 10:07:17 PM |

Evening reserved lots with signage posted at individual lot/space.

So far as the transportation website is concerned, both interpretations are correct at this time. The permit is valid from 2pm to 5pm. Should they decide to change parking enforcement times for the zone the L permit applies to, you'd need move your car by 5pm or possibly be ticketed. As it stands right now, once 5pm hits, enforcement doesn't occur after 5pm in zones L currently applies to. If you want to be helpful, send transportation a note stating the confusion on this.
