How was that? I really wanted to be able to catch that.

Tomorrow I have tickets to Death Grips...but I'm also trying to catch Grizzly Bear. DG is the opener on their show and GB is the headliner on theirs so I might be able to make it work.

I saw Bon Iver. It was "meh" (I was never a huge fan). Cool lights though.

I was thinking of going to the Mountain Goats tonight at the Carolina Theatre, but it's ticketmaster, and two tickets ended up being over $90 (even though the tickets themselves were only $29 a piece). I'd like to see him in that type of venue, but I've seen him enough to not spend that kind of $.

I can't imagine a worse concert than The Eagles and Jimmy Buffet (although Buffet was actually the first big concert i ever attended... if you don't count Lee Greenwood at Carrowinds when I was an adolescent)

any artist is worth that much if you’re a big fan and really want to see them

they were good the one time I saw them, but I’m not really a fan

Sleep is worth seeing once if you've never seen them before and you enjoy listening to them. I'd go.

The St. Vincent show was incredible; that will be a strong contender for show of the year for me.

I was a little bummed I didn't get to meet her though. I have a couple 1st degree connections and there was a decent chance that would finally happen Saturday, but it just didn't materialize. Eventually.

at first i thought i wouldnt like that she didnt have a backing band, but it ended up being really bad ass. Her visual show and her guitar and outfit changes really worked perfectly with it being a one-woman show all night.

nope

don’t really know what to expect. I’ve been checking out some recent set lists and it looks like he’s playing what you’d want to hear. if he plays “Age of Consent”, then it’s easily worth it
