I have an Intel ICH7 SATA controller and it won't read the firmware off the drive. Has anyone done this who'd be willing to help me out? I have no intention of playing games that I haven't purchased. However, the system has been having trouble reading my Saint's Row and Perfect Dark disks. The last thing I want is to pay for these games and then not be able to use them anymore.

I guess this shows my age and how out of the loop I am, but have 360's been hacked to the point of the previous xbox?

Funny thing is, Microsoft provides the XNA Architecture, The visual studio express, all the documentation and FREE authoring tools.

So why does everyone even want a modchip? Anyone can create anything they want to run on the x360 legally and freely as it is.
