Anyone know a good place that sells good coffee beans in the Raleigh or Greensboro area? Need it as a Christmas present. Thanks

Sorry can't help you with a local place, but for fast DHL shipping on truly great coffee from Austria:

meinl.com

President Blend (beans 500g) is fantastic.... just order a few months worth at a time and the shipping cost isn't bad at all.

A local favorite non-chain coffee place would most likely have no problem selling you the beans they use every day. Whether you could package it for a gift and whether you could make it taste that same way they do while using a regular household coffee maker may be a different story though. If you go to a place that sells loose coffee beans in one of those big bins like fresh market I would wonder about how long they are sitting there.

Caribou Coffee.

Get a 1/2 pound of the "Kenya". Yes, this coffee bean is native to the country Kenya.

~$8 - 9.50 is what you are looking at.

Awesome coffee. Get it ungrinded if you can.

I got it as a gift a couple of years ago, now its the only coffee that I drink.

trust me, whoever you are getting it for will approve.
