so I got it for going to a session but I don't want it: vacation for two adults includes 3 days and two nights hotel accommodations at the island palms resort plus a round trip cruise(with all meals included while on the cruise) from ft. lauderdale to freeport. all you pay is $44.50 per person port fee, NAFTA tax, $75 per person reservation and process fee, total of $239(for the two people put together). you also pay $15 per night hotel taxes and service charges to the hotel. also $5 per person fuel surcharge. Let me know if you want the packet so that you can use it and take the trip (within a year). You don't owe me anything... 12/15/2006 4:39:22 PM |

Is this one of those things where you don't actually spend the night on the boat, so by "all meals included while on the cruise" you really mean you get like 2 lunches or something? 12/15/2006 5:03:26 PM |

I have no clue! The name is Freeport in case you want to research it. There are "two full service casinos, with slot machines, caribbean stud poker, black jack and craps that you can play, shopping , pubs, shops and restaurants. scuba diving, snorkeling, parasailing, fishing." that's the description of freeport beaches that you'd be on 12/15/2006 5:05:21 PM |

a lot of times it is actually a good trip... the person who gets people to sign up gets a rather large discount or a free trip. The expensive part is getting down there and finding a place to park... worth it though if you are into cruises
[Edited on December 16, 2006 at 12:15 AM. Reason : i'd recommend a longer trip if you want the whole cruise experience] 12/16/2006 12:15:22 AM |

Oh this is SOOOOOO one of these high pressure sale deals. You get there and you are put in this "Timeshare" sales seminars.
Otherwise I have to believe that the OP is willing to give away a nice trip on the same site that will even sell used posters and old PC cases. (Not knocking the PC cases..bought one here once.) And I have to believe that the OP is doing this knowing that he will not be able to take this trip which is open ended for a year.
BTW rfsomody......I notice that you did not say what "session" you got this for going to.
Let me guess..the more people you get to respond, the better deal you get?
And since there is no "fine print" as of yet, I am betting that you will have to pass an income and credit check before you can get the trip.

Did one of these last summer (3 nights in Orlando, Disney tickets for 2 days, Cruise to Bahamas w/ 2 nights). Had to deal with sales presentations at both destinations. Not bad, just be prepared for extra costs in addition to those listed above
$_____ cost to arrive (drive or fly) $35 for parking for 3 days $20 per person "security fee" you have to pay once you arrive to board the cruise ship $10 per person cab drive one way w/ the monopoly cab company $____ cost for Alcohol , not included on the cruise ship $15 to rent the snorkles for an 1hr 1/2 $20 for the canoe for an 1hr $____ cost for food b/c that's not included either, and your stuck w/ the resort's menu unless you pay for a ride to town ($5 per person each way)
Wasn't that bad though. Just suprised at the extra hidden costs they didn't warn me about.
Ended up costing me $1,200 for everything (drove down there), close to the same amount I spent on my honeymoon (7 nights in maya riviera: plane ride and an all inclusive resort for $1,500.00)
Believe you need a passport now too ($100), didn't last year. 12/16/2006 9:07:42 AM |

its not a cheap cruise. you end up spending just as much if not more than a real cruise, plus you have to deal with the stupid sales pitches all the time 12/16/2006 12:16:02 PM |

some ppl need to stop thinking it's a FREE trip
doesn't seem like much of a cruise if it's just 1 day to 1 port of call. this thread is misleading. 12/16/2006 9:29:38 PM |
