I have heard of bittorrent for awhile but never tried it. I was wondering what to download and where to go to start using it. some of my co-workers always talk about using it to get random files off the internet.

bittorrent has been erased from my hard drive forever.
wouldn't recommend downloading copyrighted material with it (i used the Azureus client)

NBC told ResNet the name of the file I was downloading, (an ep of My Name is Earl), the filesize, and the time I downloaded it.

if i am trying to download a freeware program from a torrent file, but my internet provider does not allow uploading whatsoever, is there a way to not upload but still download the file?

i know generally you must upload to download, but ive seen some mention of mods and such that stop your uploads. anyone know anything about it?

utorrent doesn't require that you upload, but if your upload rate is less than 6kbps, then your downloads are capped
