I think this trade is gonna work out good for both sides, good for Melo to have that missing superstar from his team (besides Julius of course)

"How do you replace the NBA's top scorer? By trading for the league's No. 2 scorer. Denver has reached an agreement in principle to land seven-time All-Star Allen Iverson, sending Andre Miller, Joe Smith and two first-round picks to Philadelphia, ESPN.com has learned."

I'm surprised Denver didn't try to push Hodge into this deal.. Actually they probably tried and Philly declined.

Is there going to be enough shots to keep both Iverson and Carmelo happy? Honestly. One of them is going to have to be willing to not have the ball in his hands 75% of the time.

at the same time, its going to be hard for teams to defend both of them at the same time. You can only double team so much, if both of them dish it out to each other, they should still be able to put up numbers and keep each other in check

I dont know if they SHOULD win championships.

They are definitely contenders.

Lets see how they play together before we annoit them anything but you'd be foolish to count them out.

I cant remember a point in my NBA lifetime where two ELITE scorers played together like this on a team that also had a premeire defensive presence (Camby) ...

Basketball is a team sport. With that said, the best three teams right now in the West are the San Antonio Spurs, the Dallas Mavericks, and the Phoenix Suns. Utah Jazz, Houston Rockets, L.A. Lakers are probably next in line.
