Does anyone on here have any experience with it? Does it cost less if you get multiple procedures at once? i am not looking for anything major, just a little help here and there where I just can't seem to work it off. I was looking at pricing, but I would like to know your opinions.

^thanks, I appreciate the compliment, I was jsut looking at lipo or tummy tuck. I don't know which one I exactly need. And maybe throw in a pair of knockers worth while. and a nose job maybe, but that's more undecided.

Tummy tuck is more for people who lost a ton of weight but the skin still sags and hangs overlapping other skin. They cut out the excess and make the skin taught.

Do you have cataracts, or are your standards just that low?

Bitch needs a lot more than plastic surgery. I strongly recommend just killing yourself and starting from scratch.

You should check out Viserage. http://www.viserage.com
I sold Dr Stein a van (it was actually for his wife) this past spring. Very nice office. Aparrantly a couple ladies in the office of the dealership I worked at had work done by him and were very happy. I don't have any personal experience but take that info for what its worth

if she still has weight she would like to lose, then yes, its possible that she needs to reevalute her diet.

the same diet that lost 85lbs may not be the appropriate diet for getting those last 5-10lbs of cosmetic fat off.

you're right, i havent, but i have been in a similar situation as her (losing a lot of weight, but not able to get those last few cosmetic lbs off), so i do know that a diet/workout change could be all she needs. its a much safer and cheaper alternative to surgery.

u mind sharing any of your tips? i mean it could help her, but it could prolly help me too- senior year hs i was 225, then i once i started state, i got mono, and the weight flew off- i'm like 177 now, but still look kinda flabby

177>225 though

I mean, if you already lost 85 pounds I'd think you could lose a little more to avoid liposuction. I'm not really a fan of plastic surgery to change natural appearance either, nobody's perfect, live with yourself

to get those slabs of hanging skin due to the 85pd weight loss, you will have to get plastic surgery, there isnt really any other way for that to come off.

there are ways besides surgery to get rid of that "little bit extra". i never said a thing about loose skin or stertchmarks.

is this something you've decided on a whim? or have you been seriously considering this? i mean... i could understand if you were completely flat chested and you wanted some boobs, but you aren't. or if you had a huge schnoz and you were always teased about it, or it made it difficult to breathe, but i don't remember anything out of the ordinary from the one or two times i saw you. you're young, i wouldn't waste my time or money on plastic surgery unless you were completely miserable with yourself or something. Congrats on the weight loss... so you can get those extra vanity pounds off? Hire a personal trainer... it'll be cheaper in the long run, no scaring, no cutting, no risks... and think of how much better you'll feel about yourself knowing that YOU did it.

I've had what some may consider plastic surgery before... I believe I may have any discussed it breifly on here a long time ago. But, the only reason I had it is because a) it was starting to affect my health, I was having major back issues and I was only 17 and b) it was affecting my emotional status. End result: I was happy with the outcome, but I had some complication post-op. I had it done when I was 17, I'm 23 now and there's still some visable scarring. I think a lot of people don't take into consideration that scaring that comes into play. Wait til you're older and shit starts to droop, then by all means if it makes you happy do it. But I really think you're too young to be considering a tummy tuck / lipo so early in the game. Just my opinion though.

Ok, I think we need to settle/decide something.

Does that mean she still has some fat that she wants to lose or does it mean that since she lost all that weight its just loose skin? Like in Click after Adam Sandler lost that weight and he's laying in the hospital bed playing with his stomach. If its just the skin, I don't think any exercises can help that.

With lipo is it the case that, while some fat cells have been removed, the remaining cells are just as enlarged and as unhealty/fat as before... so that its more like cutting off a chunk of your stomach than reducing the fat content of the cells to lose weight? Or is that a misunderstanding of how it works?

i think it's just loose skin ppl. i don't do well with diets because putting restrictions on myself always makes me more hungry. since i have really seen all the final results from my excercise program i an't get rid of that pootch that has haunted my whole family for years. just a looking for something small. it's not like i'm trying to get lipo because i'm 300lbs and lazy. i just need some help because i've tried everything else to get rid of it. i was looking at viserage and they seemed fairly priced. i think i'm gonna make a consultation with them.

if you talk to Dr Stein ask him how his wife's van is working out. If it has blown up already, you do not know how to get in contact with me and you may not want to go back there

actually more people who are not overweight get lipo done than those who are overweight. they are still insecure with their bodies even though they are perfectly fine to others. is a boob job or a tummy tuck really going to make you happy with yourself? thats the question you should answer before getting anything done. a lot of people start getting plastic surgery and can't stop cuz its never enough. if its beneficial to your health, then im all for it. i also hope you can deal with pain. i have seen many women waking up from plastic surgery in so much pain and in tears. its not pleasant.

if you really worked hard to get a lot of weight dropped, you've done more than 99% on tww, and if you're just wanting to get rid of excess/hanging skin, i say more power to you.

i've always believed in working hard and eating right to take care of weight problems, so i definitely don't support plastic surgery as a quick way out of getting rid of a little fat.

so, i say only do this if it's just skin... which is just about impossible to get rid of from what i understand, and it's something you've done you homework on and you know it will make you happy.

good luck
