the timing belt in my car went out. do you guys know of a way for me to find out if i bent any of the rods, or did any other damage to it without pulling the motor apart?

its a non interference motor, so nothing should be wrong

Sounds like you lucked out then pal. Mine's an interference engine and its right at 90k, I'm gonna have to replace it pretty soon. I'm not much of a gambler, especially when it's with the life of an engine that should last for a very long time to come.
