a grade change form has to be signed by the professor, then it goes to his/her department head. That person may have already been out of the office when the form arrived at his/her desk.

once the department head signs it, it is then sent to registration and records. as you all know, this week the university is closed (including R&R).

i wouldn't count on the grade change being complete until (at the earliest) the end of next week.

University = closed, except for staff designated as emergency personnel (police namely). If you need it early next week, I would be proactive and make the phone calls to push it through.
